Brann & Isaacson Obtain Dismissal of Another Website Accessibility Case

Category:

Brann & Isaacson lawyers, Peter Brann and Hanna Wurgaft, obtained dismissal of another website accessibility case filed in NY state court by Mizrahi Kroub, the law firm that has filed more of these types of cases in NY than any other law firm. This case had been filed in NY Supreme Court in Queens against Jade & Pearl, a small Florida company that sells natural products and gifts.

“Although we are pleased that the plaintiff agreed to drop this case after we explained the situation,” stated Brann, “this lawsuit should never have been brought against this tiny out-of-state company that was anxious to accommodate its customers. Settlement is always the path of least resistance, but, as Jade & Pearl points out on its webpage about the company’s founder, ‘well behaved women rarely make history.’”
