Former B&I Paralegal Jordan Goldberg to Clerk at the U.S. Supreme Court

Brann & Isaacson congratulates our one-time paralegal, Jordan Goldberg, on earning a coveted position as law clerk to Justice Sonia Sotomayor of the U.S. Supreme Court. A student of our late colleague, George Isaacson, at Bowdoin College, Goldberg served as a B&I paralegal for two years after graduation while he considered whether to commit to a career in the law. As Goldberg put it in an interview with his alma mater, “‘George became a mentor to me, and we had some wonderful conversations…. He said that, before making a decision about whether to go to law school, it would be good to get some experience of the actual practice of law.’” His stint at B&I affirmed Goldberg’s career ambitions. “‘I was not scared away from the profession—on the contrary,’” he reports. Goldberg went from B&I to study at Yale Law School, clerk for federal trial and appellate judges, and then into private practice in Washington, DC.
