Brann & Isaacson Mourns the Passing of Senior Partner George Isaacson

Brann & Isaacson announces with great sadness that Senior Partner George Isaacson passed away on August 19, 2023, surrounded by his family. George was a nationally recognized leader on state tax law, and one of the most prominent municipal, education, and business lawyers in Maine. His legacy includes not only his numerous accomplishments, such as two U.S. Supreme Court arguments and numerous cutting-edge legal victories, but also his contributions to recruiting and mentoring top-notch talent that allow a boutique law firm to enjoy a national reputation.
